We are delighted to share that our on-line auction raised £15,110 and will go towards a digital x-ray machine for the new Siddhasthali Rural Community Hospital in Hetauda.
We had 16 auction lots, including the unique experience of enjoying cocktails and canapes with Joanna Lumley, our Patron, in the fashionable Lobby bar at ‘One Aldwych’, followed by the successful bidder and their guest enjoying a delicious three-course Champagne dinner before retiring for a luxurious overnight stay.
Two further terrific auction promises were ‘Take to the skies’ a once in a lifetime opportunity to fly a Bombardier Challenger 604 Business Jet Simulator; another from Simon Boyle, chef extraordinaire, to cook for up to 10 guests a superb 3-course lunch or dinner in your own home and many more wonderful auction lots.
Thank you so much to all those who donated a promise or were successful in the auction and those who made a personal donation. Without you, we would not have been able to fund this vital piece of equipment.
